A small tribute..

There, I first pulled up and stood,
Come on, you can do it was the encouraging food..
And then I took the first step,
With a smile on my face and heart full of pep..
Walked a little but then I fell,
Those moments of experience that I wish to tell..
Anxious to reach the arms I skipped the trail,
I let myself down but was not ready to fail..
I sensed I can again go about,
I'd try and lose too but can't get out..
I realized life is not straight but also has a bend,
I'll come across more ups and downs, but that's not the end..
I'd struggle, weep, frown or scream,
But will remain committed, focused to not disconnect from my dream.
What I learn and experience will help me to tackle,
Undeterred I will be to overcome any hurdle or obstacle..

I'll forget what I missed to embark on a mission new,
